We verify your age by reviewing a photo of you holding your photo ID. Users are instructed to censor/obstruct all information that is not your face, photo, or date of birth. After verification, the image is permanently deleted, and we never need to verify your age more than once, outside of some major accident affecting our records. In the case of an incident affecting verifications, a notice will be present on the homepage of othercon.org.
Age verification is not required, and the only limitation of not verifying is being barred from 18+ panels and 18+ sections of the server.
When you register for Othercon, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as your name and email address.
If you order a souvenir badge or from the con store, we will need your address so we may ship it to you. We will never use your address information for any reason other than shipping.
When ordering from the con store, it will ask for your payment information. This is handled by our processor (Stripe) and not visible to Othercon staff.
